Amar’e Stoudemire Pens “This Isn’t Goodbye” Letter Regarding His Basketball Career and Next Move
After recently signing with the New York Knicks only to announce his retirement, Amar'e Stoudemire has taken pen to paper in order to write a letter via The Player's Tribune to share thoughts on his 14-season stint in the NBA. Dubbed "This Isn't Goodbye," the six-time All Star reminisces about his playing days and pays homage to those who helped him along the way. Kicking things off by mentioning former New York Knick's teammates, as well as his coach/mentor Burney Hayes, Stoudemire sheds light on elite players such as Steve Nash, Shaquille O'Neal, Stephon Marbury, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony and a few more.
