The old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games on NES were awesome, but most of the more recent installments of the series have been anything but. Hopefully that will all change with Mutants in Manhattan. Due out later this year and developed by PlatinumGames (the Japanese studio behind the likes of Bayonetta and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance), MiM will let players traverse the sewers, subways, and streets of New York City — complete with four-player online co-op — as they take on Shredder and Krang's Foot By Foot organization. The game also promises the return of old series favorites like Bebop and Rocksteady, as well as an original story penned by IDW's TMNT author, Tom Waltz.

Check out the trailer above and head on over to the game's website for more info. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan is set to drop this summer for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
