With the ZX Flux entering the market just shy of two years ago, adidas have returned to the drawing board to give the top-selling lightweight trainer a stylish athleisure makeover. Forgoing the usual one-piece printed upper, the ZX Flux Plus favours a multi-piece knitted upper joined together with Yeezy-like contrast stitching. For lovers of their high-end trainers, there’s also a heavy bit of Y-3 influence going on here, with the rear half of the upper bearing more than a little resemblance to the Y-3 Retro Boost. In fact, there’s not a lot on these retained from the OG Flux, except for the midsole! Fortunately, despite sporting a heavy dose of Yeezy and Y-3 influence, these won’t bust your bank account. They’re available right now from select adidas stockists, like Sneaker Politics, for a very reasonable USD $110.
